The Regimental Volunteer Band of Wisconsin, Inc. was formed in 1994 by Civil War living historians and musicians.  The Band strives to recreate the look and sound of a typical Union Army Band serving with the western troops of Grant or Sherman in the years of the War Between the States.  The Band plays authentic musical arrangements on original period instruments and performs at military reenactments, concerts, parades, and living history demonstrations.  The Band has been featured at historic sites such as Antietam MD, Mill Springs KY, Gettysburg PA, and at Grant’s home in Galena IL. A CD recording “The Reenactor’s Choice” is now available.
